Dr Paul Wilson Anderson was born in
Gainesville, Texas, and grew up in Lamesa and Midland,
Texas. He is a graduate of Midland High School; Texas Tech
University, Lubbock, Texas; Southwestern Baptist
Theological Seminary, Fort Worth; and International
Seminary, Plymouth, Florida. Dr.
Anderson served his country in the U. S. Army as a
paratrooper in the 101st and 8th Divisions. He has served
as a Baptist senior pastor from 1970 through 2010. The most
recent was Keeler Baptist Church in Borger, TX were he
pastored for 11 1/2 years. He retired from the full time
pastorate in 2010 and is now a Field Strategist for a
church convention and a foundation. He and his wife of 47
years, Patricia, live in Wolfforth, TX. |

Phil Moss was born and grew up in Edmond,
Oklahoma. His career included 31 years as part of the
Oklahoma State System of Higher Education, serving as Dean
of Information Services and Distance Education at Western
Oklahoma State College, then moving to service on the
executive staff of the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher
Education (OSRHE). There he served as Vice Chancellor for
Academic Affairs, and Interim Chancellor. He holds an MEd
and PhD from the University of Oklahoma.
Phil joined the Rotary Club of Altus,
Oklahoma, in 1982, and served as club secretary (5 years)
and as president in 1990-91. He became a member of the
Norman Rotary Club in 2007, and has served as Song Leader,
member of the Board of Directors, and has been an active
member in the club’s projects supporting Rotary in the
Norman community, the district, and beyond. He is a
multiple Paul Harris Fellow and member of the Paul Harris
Society. Phil and his wife Peggy have been married since
1979, and have 3 children.

Hollis completed his formal education with a
Master of Business Administration in Finance from
University of Dallas. He is retired after forty years in
the corporate world. He worked for Alcon Labs in sales and
Baxter Healthcare in sales, marketing, operations,
acquisitions/mergers, and corporate director. He is a
charter member of Rotary Club of Arlington Sunrise in
Texas. Over the years, he has held many club positions,
including President in 2007-2008. He has served District
5790 as Assistant Governor and District Membership Chair
for three years and as Ranger and Chief Ranger for Lone
Star P.E.T.S., the last four years. Hollis is a facilitator
for Rotary’s Institute for Leadership. His other avenues of
service have been on several community and non-profit
boards.
He is an member of New World United Methodist Church where
he is Chair of Leadership. Hollis is a multiple Paul Harris
Fellow and is a member of the Paul Harris Society. His
wife, Virginia of 47 years is also Paul Harris recipient.
They have two sons and four granddaughters. |

In 1992, Sandra joined the
Rotary Club of Garland and enjoys the opportunities Rotary
has provided for serving the community. She will serve
clubs in District 5810 as District Governor for the Rotary
year of 2012-13.
In early 2009, then RI
President D. K. Lee and the R. I. Board of Directors
honored her with the highest honor that can be given to an
individual Rotarian – the Rotary International Service
Above Self. District 5810 has honored Sandy with the
District Service Above Self award, the Foundation Advocacy
Award and Rotarian of the Year. Sandy has been blessed with
the opportunity of traveling to countries in Africa, Asia
and Central & South America to participate in a wide range
of Rotary humanitarian projects.

Dr Phil was born in Wichita, KS, moved to
Baton Rouge, LA, when 12 years old and completed his BS at
LSU and MD at LSU Med School in New Orleans in 1971. He
married Dee in 1968. They moved to Washington, DC, where
Phil completed his medical training in Dermatology at
Walter Reed General Hospital. Phil accumulated 8 1/2 years
of active duty with the US Army, including being the Flight
Surgeon for the 2nd Division in Korea.
Phil set up private practice initially in Palestine, TX,
where he was introduced to the Rotary Club of Palestine, in
1978. A year later they moved to Paris, TX, where Dr Phil
has been in the private practice of Dermatology since that
time. Dee and Phil have 2 sons and 3 grandchildren. Both
boys and their families live in the north Dallas metroplex
area.
Phil joined the Rotary Club of Paris, TX, in 1979. He
served as Club President in 1983-84. Dee and Phil have
attended 13 International Conventions. After dragging Dee
and the then young boys to their first convention in
Dallas, they were "hooked" because of the opportunity to
fellowship with peoples from across the Rotary world. Phil
believes that the International Convention venue is a
setting where "Rotary can get into you!"
Dee and Phil have supported the Foundation and are Paul
Harris Sustaining members and Major Donor level 2. Their
initial interest came during the fund raising for Polio
when Phil was District Chair for the effort. Dee is
presently President of the Rotary Club of Paris and led the
District GSE Team to 9210 in southeast Africa in April of
2010. They have help host visiting GSE team members and
Rotary Exchange Students.
Dee and Phil look forward to traveling throughout District
5830 starting in July and giving support to the great clubs
of "The Action District" as we all grow and serve in
Rotary. We wish each of you a Great Rotary Year! |

A retired United States Naval Officer, Rick
is founder and Chairman of Flagship Auto Service Centers in
Hawaii. A Hawaii corporation comprised of six automotive
fast lube and tire centers that operate in the top one
percent of centers in the nation. The Small Business
Administration has honored him as an “Employer of the Year”
for his work with the Welfare to Work Program and his
success in moving families and individuals from welfare to
productive employment. His company has been recognized as
one of the “Top Fifty” fastest growing businesses in Hawaii
for the past three years.
Rick joined the Rotary Club Wahiawa/Waialua (District 5000)
in 1994 where he served on the board of directors for 7
years and chairman of numerous committees, and Club
President. In 2001 he joined the Rotary Club of Mexia
(District 5870) and served as Club President 2002-2003. At
the District level he has served as District Trainer,
Assistant Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Foundation Dinner
Chair and on numerous committees. Rick and his Rotarian
wife Teresa are Level Two Major Donors and Benefactors.
They have three grown children and seven grandchildren.

Lisa’s dad Gordon Robbins, and her husband Alan Herring
were both Rotarians and past club presidents of
Junction Rotary Club. She also was club President in
2006-2007 as a “Leading” President, and is a multiple
Paul Harris Fellow. Lisa has served her club in various
Director and committee positions, and was selected
Rotarian of the Year for 2007-2008 and 2009-2010. Lisa
was an Assistant Governor for District 5840 (2008 to
2011), and has served on the Youth Exchange district
committee for 11 years.
One of her most recent and impactful Rotary experiences
was selection as District 5840’s Group Study Exchange
Team Leader to District 3800 Philippines in 2010!
Lisa works for Odyssey Hospice a Gentiva Company where
she is the Director of Volunteer Services for San
Antonio and surrounding counties. She also works in the
HR/PR fields, teaching classes in Quality Service and
Professional Development, and is a Certified Ropes
“Challenge Course” Facilitator through Adventure
Experiences.
Lisa and her husband Alan have 3 children. After
family, her greatest passions are the Rotary Youth
Exchange/GSE programs and helping children with
disabilities.

Chris is a 1984 graduate of Fairleigh
Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ and holds a degree in
Mechanical Engineering and is Vice President of Chemac,
Inc. Chris is a veteran of the United States Army. He is a
proud member of the Rotary Club of Memorial-Spring Branch
(Houston), TX.
Chris has served District 5890 as an Area Membership Chair
from 2006 to 2008 and as Assistant Governor 2008-2011.
Chris’ classification is Mechanical Engineering. Chris is a
Major Donor, a member of the Bequest Society, White Hat
Society, Paul Harris Society, the District Polio Plus
Society and the Rotary Global History Fellowship.
Chris has four children Christle, 25 currently serving in
the United States Navy, twins, Nicholas and Briana 17 and
Hannah 8. Christle has also made Chris a grandfather
blessing him with a beautiful granddaughter Ariana. |

Brenda Walker is completing her 29th year
with Oncor Electric Delivery and currently serves as an
Area Manager based in Palestine, Texas. She holds a
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Dallas
Baptist University. A Rotarian since 2000; Brenda is a
member of the Rotary Club of Palestine and has served in
various leadership roles. District 5910 roles have included
Membership Chair, AG and registrar for the 2010 Tejas
Multi-District conference in San Antonio. Brenda is a
multiple PHF, has attended multiple district conferences, 7
international conferences, and is a recipient of the 4
Avenues of Service Award and D5910’s Roll of Fame. Active
in her community she has served as President of several
community organizations and in 2005 was honored as
Palestine’s Citizen of the Year. Brenda is married to J D
(Stack) who is an Honorary Rotarian.

JD Simpson was born and raised in
Hallettsville, Texas. An Eagle Scout, JD became involved in
Scouting at a young age and served as an Assistant Scout
Master and Camp counselor for several years. JD joined the
Victoria, Texas Police Department in 1979 and served as a
Police Officer for 15 years. In 2000, JD entered the field
of Real Estate in Victoria and focused on the Commercial
Real estate market.
In 2006, he moved to Rockport, Texas and
is currently a partner and manager of Shoreline Real.
Estate Company. He sits on the Board of Directors of the
Rockport Area Association of Realtors and recently
completed his 3rd term as a Director of the Rockport-Fulton
Chamber of Commerce.
JD joined the Victoria Northside Rotary
Club in September of 2000 and in 2001 he was named that
Club’s “Most Spirited Rotarian”. In 2003 he was named that
club’s Rotarian of the Year. He served as an Officer and
Director for several years and served as Club President,
2004-2005.
He is currently a member of the Rockport, Texas Rotary
club.
JD served District 5930 as an Assistant
District governor for four years. He has served on the
following committee’s: District Strategic Planning
Committee, Grants, Scholarship, Disaster Preparedness. He
was Chairman of the 2009 District Conference committee for
Governor Russell Cain which was held in San Antonio, Texas.
JD’s Grandfather was a charter member of
the Rotary club of Hallettsville, Texas which was founded
in 1928 and he was that clubs 7th President. JD’s father,
Jim Simpson, has been a Rotarian since 1954 and served
Rotary International as the Governor of District 5870 in
1962-1963.

Rotary Foundation Benefactor. |
